Mama Sana Vibrant Woman - Project Connect
Mama Sana Vibrant Woman received funds to support pregnant participants and participants within 2 years postpartum with rental assistance. HHCBP is a contributing partner, linking eligible clients with this rental assistance program.

Texas Community Partner Program
Case Management for Children and Pregnant Women is a Medicaid benefit that provides health-related case management services to children birth through 20 years of age with a health condition and to high-risk pregnant women of any age. Through the passage of HB 1575 in 2023, Doulas and Community Health Workers are now approved providers of case management services. Healing Hands PCHWs have been trained to provide this support to its clientele.

Healthy Start Black Mamas ATX
Healing Hands Community Birthing Project and Black Mamas ATX have teamed up to provide perinatal support services before, during and after pregnancy and combine community-based, supportive services from doulas and PCHWs. This project provides funding and infrastructure to increase access to comprehensive, perinatal health services centering Black and Latina childbearing people through pregnancy and up to 18 months postpartum.

Maternal Health Equity Collaborative
The Maternal Health Equity Collaborative centers Black women and women of color- both in leading the collaborative and within the community we serve. The approach to service provision is not prescriptive or based on hypothetical needs but based in the actual needs of the community from a space of solidarity. The MHEC is building community through humanization, healing, and creating a legacy for generations to come. -
